FIA Gran Turismo Championships Pre-Season Test

The Semi-Finals are being held with one type of car, the Mazda Roader S (MX-5) which has been modified to the 'N200' class, the entry class amongst the various categories present in 'Gran Turismo Sport'. This decisive battle is to take place in the capital of Japan on the newly made 'Tokyo Expressway' course, an eagerly awaited location for driving simulator fans, the Tokyo highways.


The Japanese players dominated the starting grid top 3 at the beginning of the race. As the race started Yusuke Tomibayashi (Japan) and Yuji Taneichi (Japan) began a fierce fight for the top spot. These two players became rivals during the daily open lobby race events and it has certainly continued into these races too. The two rivals revelling in the fierce battle mesmerised the crowd from the start of the race, Takuya Takahashi (Japan) took the chance this rivalry provided however to pull ahead of them both and finish the race in 1st place. As the result screen appeared the Japanese players dominated the podium, this race really showcased the strength of the players from Japan.

At the end of the Semi-Finals the following 8 players came out on top to proceed into the Finals.
