From 25 April to 30 May, we will be hosting the Manufacturer Series – Stage 1 of the‘FIA Gran Turismo Championships’ 2020 Series. The ranking is based on an effective points system: the final score will be tallied from the best 3 Rounds out of the total 10 Rounds (1/4 of the total, rounded up.)

Players who have already chosen their affiliated manufacturer for the 2020 Series will be given another chance to contract with their preferred manufacturer for Stage 1. Once selected, players will not be able to change their affiliated manufacturer until the end of Stage 3.

Additionally, in accordance with the addition of the MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT, scheduled for release on Friday 22 May, players will be given an additional chance to change their affiliated manufacturer. However, please note that in this case players will lose all their effective points when changing from another manufacturer.

■ Effective Points

The 'FIA Gran Turismo Championships' 2020 Series Manufacturer Series will be fought in the same manner as last year with 10 Rounds per Stage, for a total of 30 Rounds across 3 Stages. Stage 1 will comprise of Rounds 1 to 10.

The final score will be tallied from the best 1/4 Rounds out of the total for that Stage (rounded up).

■ Stage 1 Calculation
　・At the end of Rounds 4, the points from the best Round will count towards the final score.
　・At the end of Rounds 8, the points from the best 2 Rounds will count towards the final score.
　・At the end of Rounds 10, the points from the best 3 Rounds will count towards the final score.

Continuing into Stage 2 and beyond, the number of Rounds that are counted towards the final score will increase, with the best 8 Rounds to be counted after 30 Rounds.

■ Race Schedule and Top 16 Superstars

The schedule below shows each Round and the 'Top 16 Superstars' race.

　・Every Tuesday and Wednesday: 18:00, 19:20, 20:40, 22:00, 23:20 CST (5 races in total)
　・Every Saturday: 18:20, 21:00, 23:40 CST (3 races in total)

　■ 'Top 16 Superstars' Schedule
　・Rounds 3, 7, 10 (Race Time: 21:00 CST)
　・Selection Criteria: Acquired points
　・Bonus Points: 50 Base Points, 0x Point Multipliers
　・Entry Restriction: Up to 2 players from the same Manufacturer

The standard race will commence 10 minutes after the start of the 'Top 16 Superstars' race.

■ World Tours

According to the results of each Stage, players will be selected for participation in World Tour events to be held a later date. For the Manufacturer Series, a total of 12 manufacturers will be selected to participate in a World Tour: in addition to the Official Partner 'Toyota' and 'Mazda', the highest ranked manufacturers in the 'Global Manufacturer Ranking' will also be selected.

As in previous championships, at the end of each Stage players will be selected for 'Star Player' registration and 'Victory Bonuses' will be distributed in-game according to the results.
