Community
*The online services for “Gran Turismo 6” have been terminated. This function can no longer be used.
The Community area is a place where you can enjoy communicating with other players. Create a profile to share your favorite photos and cars, and take part in club events and forums. Also, by using the Community features on gran-turismo.com, you can create club events and invite other players without having to launch Gran Turismo 6.
To use the Community area, you must be signed in to PlayStation®Network. For details on the Community area, please refer to the pages in the "Community" section of this manual.
Select "Community" from My Home to proceed to the Community screen. If it's your first time in the Community area, you'll be asked to create a public profile. Try and create a profile that lets other players know a little bit about you.
The following features are displayed on the left side of the Community screen:
- My Page
- Create a profile, manage the clubs and club events you are participating in, and share your favorite cars and photos.
- Timeline
- A chronological summary of yours and your friends' activity, along with any club updates or announcements.
- Clubs
- Clubs are places where like-minded players can get together. Here you can take part in club events, and use lobbies and forums.
- Friends
- An overview of your friends' profiles, activity, and more.
- Photo Stream
- Enjoy looking at photos shared by your friends and other players from all over the world.
- Messages
- Send messages to your friends and view your message history.
- News
- Here you can read various notifications from Gran Turismo, containing information on things such as updates and maintenance.
If a user posts text or photos in the Community area that contain inappropriate content, these can be reported to Sony Interactive Entertainment. Simply place the cursor over content that can be reported, and "SELECT Report" will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen. Press SELECT and select the "Relevant Points" and the "Reasons for Inappropriateness" from the pulldown menu that appears to report the content.
