The first stage of the Manufacturer Series got underway on June 9, with the king of the North America region Turismo-Deafsun, driving for Lexus, getting off to a flying start. Scoring 2,836 points in the second round and 2,830 points in the fifth, he had taken a firm hold of 1st place. Ford (TRC_Stagger) and Alfa Romeo (CAR_Lamb) sat in 2nd and 3rd respectively, but there was no ignoring the staggering gap between Turismo-Deafsun and the rest of the field.

In the first race's final stage, which took place on Sardegna Road Track B, Turismo-Deafsun started in the third spot on the grid, but he was able to overtake TRC_Stagger on the first lap and got right behind the Alfa Romeo of CAR_Lamb. On Lap 2, Turismo-Deafsun effectively drafted the Alfa on the front straight, snatching the lead of the race from CAR_Lamb. Once through, Turismo-Deafsun's Lexus cruised to the finish as TRC_Stagger and CAR_Lamb battled for 2nd place. In the end, Turismo-Deafsun had a three-second cushion when he crossed the finish line, showing everyone that he was still the one to beat in the North America region.  

Although Turismo-Deafsun gave an uncharacteristically disappointing performance at World Tour 2019 - Nürburgring, he has been razor sharp in the Online Series and showed his speed and tactical prowess in Stage  1 of the North American 2019 Manufacturer Series. He came here with something to prove, and so far, he's doing just that.
