The Manufacturer Series Test Season 3 was held across 6 rounds from November 19 to the 25th , and the opening round was a 10 lap Gr. 4 race on the Dragon Trail.
In this race, the top group from the previous season was joined in by new contenders from Dodge (Kawanaka22), Toyota(Akagi_1942mi), and Subaru (HIDEbyDCRTDR), scoring high in the race.
From Round 2, top rankers such as samurai_405 of Subaru and Nik_Makozi of Mercedes dominated. The only new comer who was able to keep momentum from the first race was Akagi_1942mi of Toyota. Akagi_1942mi skipped the 3rd race however, so the effective points standing after round 3 was McLaren (JUN-_-JEEEEN 3746 pts) in the lead,Mercedes-Benz in 2nd (Nik_Makozi / 3605 pts) and Ferrari (yukiku /3510 pts） in third.
Round 4 was a Gr. 3 race on the Suzuka Circuit. Here the Ferrari driven by yukiku kept ahead of McLaren driven by JUN-_-JEEEEN throughout the race and won. Gaining 1516 points, Ferrari turned the tables on McLaren. Ferrari (yukiku) continues to maintain its superiority in Round 5,Inter lagos. Here Subaru (with samurai_405) and Lamborghini (yamado_racing38)shows great performance, both rising to 2nd and 3rd in point rankings respectively. McLaren (JUN-_-JEEEEN) was now in 4th place.
The final round was a 10 lap race on the Nürburgring GP track, with Group 3 cars.
The advantage of Ferrari with 200 points over Subaru in 2nd seemed rock solid, but there were a series of events that totally changed the scene in this final race.
The 4th race of the day was a direct conflict between the top contenders including Ferrari (yukiku), McLaren (JUN-_-JEEEEN), Mercedes-Benz (Nik_Makozi), and Honda(s-shohei_). McLaren (JUN-_-JEEEEN) starting in pole position ran a perfect race, keeping the lead all the way to the finish line. Mercedes-Benz (Nik_Makozi)and Ferrari (yukiku) however did not make it into the top 3, ending in 4th and 5th respectively. This put McLaren (JUN-_-JEEEEN) at 1660 pts, overturning a difference of roughly 500 pts to win the series. Subaru (samurai_405) entering the 5th race of the day also won the race, but finished the series just 17 points below McLaren. Lamborghini (yamado_racing38) did not participate in this race, solidifying the overall victory for McLaren.
