The World's Top Drivers are Back! 'World Series - Round 2’ to be Broadcast on 11 July from 2:00pm (BST)!

It’s been a month since the dramatic events of Round 1 and with Season 1 of the Online Series concluded, it’s now time for the ‘World Series- Round 2!'

The ‘World Series-Round 2’ broadcast will begin at 2:00pm BST on 11 July and all of the action will be streamed live on the official 'Gran Turismo TV' YouTube channel and 'Gran Turismo LIVE.'

The World Series is a global online competition where the top drivers from around the globe go wheel-to-wheel in a four-Round/two-Season competition. The event takes place in June, July, October, and November with Round 2 featuring the drivers from Round 1 and the 2020 World Finals, ensuring that the level of competition is going to be at the highest level.

As part of the ‘FIA Certified GT Championships’, this event will include races from both the Nations Cup which sees drivers representing their own countries and territories, and the Manufacturer Series where each competitor represents their favourite automobile manufacturer.

14 familiar faces will be competing in the Nations Cup including Round 1 winner, Italy’s Valerio Gallo. Similarly, Manufacturer Series Round 1 winner, Porsche’s Angel Inostroza, will also be hoping to repeat his success amongst the 12 top automobile manufacturers.
