MANUFACTURERS CUP

The Manufacturers Cup showcases a variety of stunning cars in Gran Turismo. This is a team competition where the top 12 car makers from the online Qualifiers Series, including official partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda, are represented. In Montreal, the team members from the Americas Region will race. This will be mirrored at Rd.2 in Prague on 10 August where the EMEA drivers will compete, and again on 28 September for Rd.3 in Tokyo with the Asia-Oceania drivers. All three drivers from each manufacturer will then race as a team at the World Finals.

With World Championship points at stake, the Americas Region drivers will be keen to give their team the best possible start to 2024.

The 2023 World Finals saw the established order upset when Team Nissan emerged victorious at the end of a captivating race. A threat from the very start of the Gran Turismo World Series in 2018, Team Mercedes-AMG came home second with Team Genesis in third.

The scene is set for more highly competitive racing in Montreal.

NATIONS CUP

A new format for the 2024 edition of the Nations Cup sees 12 drivers selected from the online Qualifiers Series who will take part in all three Gran Turismo World Series Rounds, plus the World Finals.

The Nations Cup is an individual championship with the drivers representing their home country or territory.

In 2023 the Nations Cup was also a team event and it was Team Spain who took a wildly popular victory at the World Finals in Barcelona. Two of their number, Jose Serrano and Coque López, will be back in action in Montreal and looking to replicate their 2023 form, but challengers from Japan, Italy, Netherlands, France, USA, Brazil, and Chile will be looking to end Spanish dominance of this competition.
