Manufacturers Cup

The Manufacturers Cup pits the 12 highest-ranked manufacturers against each other, including those from our official partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda. Each manufacturer is represented by a team of three drivers, one from each Region of the Online Qualifiers. In Tokyo, most of the competing drivers will be from the Asia-Oceania Region.

Drivers will be racing alongside their team-mates at the World Finals, but this is their chance to show off their skills as individuals.

Drivers to Watch

Arthur Mosso
This Brazilian technician switched this season from Renault to Porsche. While yet to record a single race victory, Porsche’s consistent performances have put them top of the Points Ranking. They will be hoping to maintain that momentum through the final half of the season!

Kanata Kawakami
A veteran driver with vast live event experience, he is aiming for a second Manufacturers Cup title with Lexus. In Round 2, his teammate fought back from last place to earn a crucial point, putting Lexus second in the Point Ranking.

Ryota Kokubun
Known for his brilliant race strategies, Ryota clinched the Manufacturers Cup title with Nissan last year. This season, he will be expected to build on the points secured by his teammates, with a standout performance in his homeland.

Takuma Miyazono
A seasoned veteran at the peak of his career, the Japanese star has won numerous titles over the years. Despite their strong lineup, Subaru go into Round 3 with zero points, so all eyes will be on Takuma to see if he can turn things around!

Grand Final Live Broadcast

This race will determine the winner of the Manufacturers Cup for this event.
The top six teams/drivers will be awarded with World Series Points.
Mount Panorama where the race is staged, is an iconic circuit of Australia. This is a street track known for endurance races like the '24 Hours of Bathurst.' Awaiting the competitors is one of the most difficult tracks in the world, with half the track on a hill section consisting of consecutive large and small corners.

Nations Cup

The Nations Cup, in which drivers compete for their home country/territory, returns to an individual format this year. 12 drivers chosen from the Online Qualifiers will compete across three World Series live events and the World Finals.

The competition is fierce with half of the top ranked competitors being within three points of each other in the Points Ranking.

Drivers to Watch

Coque López
This top Spanish driver is aiming for an unprecedented third straight Nations Cup title. Known for his smart strategic mind, he currently leads the Points Ranking despite not winning a race this season. In Round 2, he made a dramatic comeback from last to third place thanks to a remarkable pit strategy.

Valerio Gallo
The Italian superstar has been in good form since the Online Qualifiers stage. His impressive win in Round 2 - in what was one of the most hotly contested races in GTWS history - surely makes him a top contender to earn a second Nations Cup title!

Takuma Miyazono
A technician who excels with the Red Bull X2019 Competition, he dominated Round 1, but an accident in Round 2 resulted in him leaving with zero points. Now, he will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance in his home country.

Kaj de Bruin
The young Dutch driver is having a standout season. He is very skilled with the ultra-fast Red Bull X2019 Competition and his smart tyre strategy in Round 2 put him right in the mix for the lead. A race victory seems just around the corner.
