A mode in which you can race against cars controlled by the game's AI. The greater your Collector Level, and experience on a given track, the more prize credits you will earn.

Certain courses will allow you to race against 'Gran Turismo Sophy.' In such a case:

Select Rival AI
After selecting a track layout, you will be prompted to select between 'Regular AI' and 'GT Sophy' for the rival cars. GT Sophy will exhibit more 'realistic' behaviour.

Race Difficulty Selection
Select one of three difficulty options. The higher the difficulty level, the more prize credits you will be able to win. Your chance of obtaining a bonus is displayed above.

Race
When racing against GT Sophy, reactions expressed by way of emoticons will display above rival cars and to the right of the car list on the left side of the screen.
