We are delighted to announce the commencement of the Gran Turismo World Series 2025, the prestigious championship that crowns the world's finest Gran Turismo player.

Now entering its eighth year, the competition will once again feature two distinguished tournaments: the Nations Cup, in which nations and regions vie for supremacy, and the Manufacturers Cup, where automotive manufacturers engage in a battle of speed and strategy on the race track.

The finest drivers from around the world will embark on a global journey for the live events

In the esteemed Live Events of the World Series, the highest-ranked competitors who have successfully advanced through the Online Qualifiers will embark on a global journey, competing in a series of prestigious tournaments across four major cities.

The action kicks off in London, the UK, this June, followed by a showdown in Berlin, Germany, in September. The competition then continues under the bright lights of Los Angeles, USA, in November, before culminating in the ultimate battle—the World Finals in Fukuoka, Japan, this December.

A newly introduced seeding system in the Nations Cup now guarantees Live Event participation for the three highest-ranked competitors from the previous season. As a result, Takuma Miyazono from Japan, Kylian Drumont from France, and Jose Serrano from Spain—each an exceptional driver with championship titles to their names—have secured their places in this year’s prestigious competition.

Spectators can experience the thrill of these events live and in person at each location by purchasing a ticket. For those unable to attend, an official live broadcast will be available, allowing fans worldwide to witness the thrilling battles of the Gran Turismo World Series from anywhere across the globe.

The Online Qualifiers commence on April 2, determining which competitors will earn a place in the Live Events

The Online Qualifiers will be open to all players from April 2 to May 10, providing an opportunity to compete for a place in the prestigious Live Events. Selection for these events will be determined from the GT1 League, where only the top performers will earn their spots.

Based on the results of six rounds of Online Qualifiers, twelve manufacturers will advance to the Manufacturer Cup Live Events, each represented by three drivers, totaling 36 competitors. Also, nine elite drivers will be selected to compete in the highly competitive single-driver Nations Cup Live Events.
