A.ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ONLINE QUALIFIERS TIME TRIAL EVENT

The Online Qualifiers for the Olympic Esports Series 2023 Motor Sport Event is open to anyone from within the 'Sport' mode of Gran Turismo 7.

However, participation in the Olympic Esports Series Motor Sport Finals 2023 will be limited to competitors aged 18 or over at the time of the Finals 2023.

(In Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, competitors must be aged 21 or over on the starting date of the Finals 2023.)

Participation in the Online Qualifiers is limited to players with citizenship in one of the following participating countries.

Competitors are required to provide documentary proof (proof of citizenship or passport) of their eligibility for their participation in the Finals 2023.
If a competitor is unable to provide this proof when requested, the competitor may be disqualified from the competition.

The Olympic Esports Series 2023 Motor Sport Event will be comprised of the following two phases:

1ONLINE QUALIFIERS

This is a time trial event in which participants compete for an invitation to attend the Olympic Esports Week 2023.
The top competitors from the Online Qualifiers will be invited to attend the Olympic Esports Week 2023 in Singapore and to compete for a spot at the 2023 Finals.

Participation

The Online Qualifiers Time Trial can be entered from within the 'Sport' mode of Gran Turismo 7.

2Olympic Esports Series Motor Sport Finals 2023

The Finals will be comprised of the following:

1. Finals Pre-Qualification Round

This Pre-Qualification Round is a time trial event which will select the 11 competitors who will proceed to the live event.

The 20 competitors for the Pre-Qualification Time Trial will be selected as follow:
- 10 competitors selected through the Online Qualifiers (maximum 1 competitor per country);
- 10 competitors selected through FIA’s affiliated national motor sport authority (ASNs) (excluding the countries from the Online Qualifiers above) following a selection process as set out in the FIA Sporting Regulations: https://www.fia.com/regulation/category/1438

2. Finals 2023 Live Event

Of the 12 competitors participating in this event, 11 will be selected through the Pre-Qualification Round described above, and 1 will be selected by Motor Sports Singapore based on the Online Qualifiers.

C.Regulations

Olympic Esports Series 2023 Motor Sport Event is regulated by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

All the participating parties (FIA, ASNs, Organisers, Drivers and facility) undertake to apply, as well as observe, the rules governing the competition.
