We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 'Gran Turismo World Series' (GTWS) 2022 Nations Cup - Season 1 from 28 May to 1 July.

The top-ranking players from the GTWS Nations Cup - Season 1 will qualify for the World Series Showdown event due to be broadcast on 29, 30 and 31 July. For details regarding participating countries/territories, number of places available and more, please see section '4. 2022 Championship'> '3. World Series Showdown' on the 'GTWS 2022 Championship Overview' page.

Race details and schedule for each Round of the GTWS Nations Cup 2022 - Season 1 are as follows:

IMPORTANT

During Season 1 and Season 2, the 'Slipstream Strength' setting will be enabled for the Final race and disabled for the Qualifying Time Trials.

1. Race Schedule and Entry Slots (EMEA Region)

・Rounds 1-3 (Saturdays): 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 UTC (5 races in total).
・Rounds 4-6 (Fridays): 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 UTC (5 races in total).

Players may enter the event 15 minutes before the start time.

Please note all race times are server-based on UTC time zone. Daylight Saving will be active in certain Regions during Season 1 and your local race time might be affected; please check the Race Schedule in-game.

2．Effective Points

In the GTWS Nations Cup 2022, points are awarded according to a player’s final position in each online race. Points will be calculated automatically based on the average Driver Rating of all players in the same race, with the best results from half of the previously held Rounds being counted towards the final score. At the end of Round 6, the points from the best three Rounds will count towards the final score.

Please note that while players may join multiple race slots during the championship, only the points from the last race entered will count.

Season 1 Calculation Example:
・At the end of Round 2, points from the best Round will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Round 4, points from the best two Rounds will count towards the final score.
・At the end of Round 6, points from the best three Rounds will count towards the final score.
