Introducing the 2nd Version of the Toyota FT-1 in Gran Turismo 6
On the 13th of August (local time) at the McCall's Motorworks Revival hosted in California, Toyota unveiled a full scale model of the Toyota FT-1 Concept with new colours and interior. This car, named “Toyota FT-1 graphite” in-game, is to be included in a free update planned for the PlayStation®3 exclusive title “Gran Turismo 6” in September 2014.
As with the first FT-1 unveiled at the Detroit motor show in January 2014, this 2nd version was once again developed by Calty Design, Toyota’s North American Design centre. The interior of the first model was black with red edges and bare metal accents, but this model is finished in leather with brown edge accents for a natural, refined look. The new interior design, based on modern day movie superheroes and upscale leather bags, shows the variety of possibilities and versatility of the FT-1.
The new model, and the detailed interiors, have been recreated for Gran Turismo 6. Please look forward to it!
