3. Effective Points
The overall ranking is based on an effective points system. At the end of Round 4, the scores from your two best rounds will be counted. Please note, while you may join multiple race slots in a round, only the points from the last race entered will count.
For example:
- After two rounds, the points from the best round will represent the final score.
- After all four rounds, the points from the two best rounds will represent the final score.
If two or more competitors have an equal number of points at the end of the Online Qualifiers, the ranking will be determined following these criteria:
a) the competitor with the highest individual points across all rounds; and
b) if still tied, the competitor with the highest individual points in a single round; and
c) if still tied, the competitor with the highest Driver Rating (DR); and
d) if still tied, the competitor with the highest Sportsmanship Rating (SR); and
e) if still tied, the competitor who started playing 'Gran Turismo 7' earlier, according to their account for PlayStation™Network's record.
4. Point Ranking Rewards
Players can win In-game Credits according to their position in the online rankings with the new ‘Point Ranking Rewards’ bonus. These rewards will be distributed at the end of the season to players who finish within the specified ranking position and can be collected from the ‘Sport’ mode.
