Welcome to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2022
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) announced on April 18 that the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2022 e-Motorsports series will be taking place on the Gran Turismo 7 platform. The series will consist of a seven online races, followed by a final with the best 24 competitors.
The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup (TGR GT Cup) will feature the GR lineup of cars, complete with special race models. TGR hosted the GR Supra GT Cup one-make series back in 2019 on Gran Turismo Sport. In 2021, with the creation of the TGR GT Cup, a new format was introduced, expanding the roster to all GR vehicles.
The 2022 TGR GT Cup continues with last year's format, with cars such as the Toyota Supra GT500 ’97 and other models added in future updates. Also, Subaru will be joining the party in select races because of its status as a co-developer of the GR86. In Round 5 of Qualifying at the Autopolis circuit, drivers will be able to race a Subaru BRZ, as well as the Toyota GR86.
We hope you're excited about the TGR GT Cup 2022 as we are!
