NATIONS CUP
[Breaking News] Nations Cup Finals
FIA Gran Turismo Championships Pre-Season Test
2016/05/20

The setting for the final round is the Brands Hatch GP circuit, a technical course with steep up and down inclinations.
The race takes place using 'Group 1' category which is made up of Le Mans prototype cars and 'Vision Gran Turismo' vehicles created from imagined sports car prototypes.

As the race started Yuji Taneichi (Japan) and Yusuke Tomibayashi (Japan) both dramatically span of course and dropped to dead last. Takuya Taneichi (Japan) however driving his Audi R18 TDI continued his win streak from the Semi-Finals and took the 'FIA Gran Turismo Championship Pre-Season Test' Nations Cup victory for Japan.

After his bad start Tomibayashi, determined not to miss his chance, managed to come back and overtake Matieu Thornton (UK) in the final lap to finish in an amazing 2nd place.
The Japanese players showed their overwhelming skill all of the way from the Qualifiers and earned the top 2 spots in the 'FIA Gran Turismo Championship Pre-Season Test' Nations Cup. Matieu Thornton (UK) however did manage to find pride for his home venue coming in 3rd place and succeeding in ending the podium domination of the Japanese players.
