Star Players earn the admiration of all fellow Gran Turismo players through their exceptional driving skills and impeccable etiquette. By furnishing additional profile information, a Star Player's Driver Ratings (DR) will be denoted by an "S" in the game, affording them increased visibility in race reports and live events. Aspiring Star Player candidates will be provided with instructions at a later date on how to register their status via email, using the address associated with their PlayStation™Network account.

Kindly note that eligibility for Star Player status is restricted to players aged 18 and above, with the exception of candidates in Korea, who must be at least 19 years old, and in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Star Player eligibility criteria may be subject to change during the championship depending on the players' participation status.
