The "FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships" 2020 Series Overview page, which was originally published on February 15, has been amended to reflect changes made to the format of the 2020 Series.
The following is a list of the main changes.
■ Online Series
The Online Series has been reduced from four stages (total of 40 rounds) to three stages (total of 30 rounds) and will now officially start on Saturday, April 25.
■ Top 16 Superstars
The number of Top 16 Superstars races, which previously consisted of one race per stage throughout the entire series, will be increased. In addition, we are planning to broadcast the Top 16 Superstar races from certain regions on Gran Turismo LIVE.
■ World Tours and World Finals
Details regarding future World Tours and World Finals, as well as the selection process for these events, will be announced as soon as the details have been finalized.
