Igor Omura Fraga Returns to the Japanese Racing Scene for the 2024 Season
Continuing his real-world racing career in Japan in 2024, Igor Omura Fraga returns for another season in the GT 300 Class of Super GT, competing for ANEST IWATA Racing with Arnage. He will be sharing the driving duties with Yuga Furutani.
Fraga will also serve as a reserve driver for PONOS NAKAJIMA RACING this season in the Japanese Super Formula Championship, the highest level of formula racing in Asia. He will be on the roster for every event in the Super Formula 2024 Series.
Fraga was the first Gran Turismo World Series Nations Cup champion (2018) and is also an experienced driver in real-world racing, initially competing in various international formula racing series. In 2023, he took his talents to Japan, driving in the Super GT’s GT 300 Class (ANEST IWATA Racing with Arnage) and the Super Formula Lights championship (FANATEC-GRAN TURISMO with B-MAX) where he entered every race of each respective series.
Look out for Fraga on the track again this year.
