Marking the midpoint of the "FIA Gran Turismo Championships" 2021 Series, the World Series Showdown is scheduled to be broadcast on August 21 and 22 on the official "Gran Turismo TV" YouTube channel and "Gran Turismo LIVE," complete with commentary.
You'll be able to catch the Manufacturer Series races on Saturday, August 21, while the Nations Cup will take place on Sunday, August 22. Both venues will feature the best drivers from around the world competing against each other remotely, so be sure to catch all of the racing action live!
World Series Showdown
The World Series Showdown is a global online event where the best drivers in the world battle it for spots in Season 2 of the World Series (Rounds 3 and 4). The field consists of the 2020 World Finalists and the top drivers from the 2021 Online Series - Season 1. The World Series Showdown marks the midway point of the "FIA Gran Turismo Championships" 2021 Series, where both series, the Nations Cup and Manufacturer Series, feature three races with points determining the final standings. Also, a maximum of 10 World Series Points will be awarded to the top drivers and teams.

Manufacturer Series:
Broadcast begins Saturday, August 21 from 7:00am (PDT)
The Manufacturer Series will consist of 36 drivers from the Online Series Season 1, representing 12 automotive manufacturers including the Official Partners of the FIA GT Championships. Teams of three will compete in three races for a place in Round 3 and 4 of the World Series.
Nations Cup:
Broadcast begins Sunday, August 22 from 7:00am (PDT)
With 14 finalists from the 2020 World Finals and the top 16 competitors from the Online Series Season 1 making up the field in the Nations Cup, a total of 30 drivers and 16 countries will be represented. The event will consist of three races, a Semi-final A, Semi-final B and the Grand Final with the drivers competing for a place in Rounds 3 and 4 of the World Series.
