Igor Omura Fraga claimed his first win in the Super Formula Lights Series in Round 6 held at Sportsland SUGO on June 17 and 18. Fraga also took second place in Round 4 during the same weekend, securing a podium finish and moving him up to 4th in the overall standings.

Fraga commented after the race, “I'm really happy with the result, it means a lot to me. This race also showed me what I need to work on as well.”

The next series of Super Formula Lights races (Rounds 7, 8 and 9) will take place on July 1 and 2 at Suzuka Circuit in the Mie prefecture.
