TICKET SALES NOW OPEN
The city of Amsterdam plays host to the World Finals of the Gran Turismo World Series 2024 on 7 and 8 December. Theater Amsterdam, next to the River IJ in the Houthavens area, will be the venue for two days of thrilling racing as the best Gran Turismo racers in the world battle to become 2024 Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup World Champions.
The season began in North America, with Round 1 taking place in Montreal, Canada on 6 July. The experienced Igor Fraga from Brazil took the honours in the Manufacturers Cup for Team Lexus before another series stalwart, Takuma Miyazono of Japan, secured an impressive win in the Nations Cup.
In Europe, Round 2 took place in stunning Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday, 10 August and saw two new winners. An unexpected victory for Team Ferrari’s World Series debutant Mohamed Budheima (GBR) in the Manufacturers Cup preceded a popular return to form for experienced former Champion Italy’s Valerio Gallo in the Nations Cup.
Tokyo’s Asia-Oceania Round 3 saw changes at the top of the points tables when Kanata Kawakami’s impressive victory for Team Lexus took them four points clear of Team Porsche. Meanwhile, an excellent win for France’s Kylian Drumont sees him head to Amsterdam with a single point lead over Jose Serrano (ESP), Takuma Miyazono (JPN) and Valerio Gallo (ITA) in the Nations Cup.
Theater Amsterdam, the scene of the World Series Showdown in 2023, is set for more wheel-to-wheel action with the finals of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup taking place on Saturday, 7 December from 16:00-17:30 CET just before the Manufacturers Cup at 19:00-21:00 CET. The Nations Cup finale wraps up the 2024 Series from 16:00 CET on Sunday, 8 December.

The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup is the perfect start to a weekend of ultra-competitive racing. The field of 24 drivers, selected from a mixture of online races and some live events, will feature some of the fastest Gran Turismo World Series drivers looking to make a confidence-building, winning start to their World Finals weekend. In their way will be a number of new faces looking to establish themselves as future stars and take the first trophies on offer in Amsterdam.
Manufacturers Cup (19:00-21:00)

This is a team competition over the season, with the top 12 car makers from the Online Qualifiers rounds, including Official Partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda represented. One driver from each team took part in the opening three rounds in Montreal, Prague, and Tokyo, but they will join up to compete as 12 teams of three drivers for the World Finals.

Nations Cup (16:00-18:30)
The new-for-2024 Nations Cup sees the top 12 drivers from the Online Qualifiers representing their home country or territory in all three rounds and the World Finals with the points accumulating through the season.
Round 1 in Montreal saw 2020 Nations Cup Champion Takuma Miyazono from Japan hit top form with an excellent victory. In Prague, for Round 2, it was a popular and exciting victory for Italy’s Valerio Gallo, another former Champion who had struggled for consistency since winning the title in 2021. Spain’s double World Champion Coque López led the field into Round 3 in Tokyo, but a stunning performance by Kylian Drumont sees the Frenchman head to Amsterdam with a single-point advantage over three drivers tied for second with López a further two points adrift in fifth.
Kaj de Bruin from the Netherlands has scored points in all three rounds placing him sixth on the table and looking to give the Dutch crowd a reason to cheer.
