Online Time Trials are held under various regulations and involve racing with a single car around a track in a competition for the fastest lap time with players from around the world. Complete at least one lap without going off the track to register your time. You can make as many attempts as you’d like during the course of the event. Your registered lap times can be viewed from the Qualifying Time Ranking screen.

Event Selection

Select ‘Online Time Trials’ from the Sport mode event selection screen and a list of events currently being held will appear as tiles on the screen. Once you have selected an event that suits you, you must next select the time trial in which you would like to compete. Please note that the events will be periodically updated.

Event Information Screen

After selecting an event, you will be prompted to ‘Select from Garage’ or ‘Rent an Event-Specified Car’. The choice is entirely up to you. Once you have made your decision, you will proceed to the even information screen. Depending on the event you have chosen to compete in, you may be required to fill in a registration form.

Start Race

Select 'Start' from the Quick Menu to begin the time trial. When you want to stop racing, press the options button to display the Options Menu, then select 'Exit.'

Target Time Rewards

Target time rewards can be obtained by returning to the 'Sports' screen after the time trial ranking registration period has ended.
